| Thermisters - 1979 TI number: G00453 This device made use of the temperature/resistance characteristic of silicon to control current flow in a circuit as a designed function of the chip temperature. This product line was introduced by TI in early 1977 and produced into 1979. These samples were made in March, 1979. The SP102J symbolization indicates these units meet a tolerance of plus or minus 5% from the specified resistance value 1000 ohms at 25 degrees Celcius.
