| Numeric LED Display - 1972 TI number: G00440 This unit is an early production TIL308 , probably made in 1972. It consists of a seven segment gallium arsenide phosphide digit with a custom TTL MSI chip with latch, decoder and driver. In production, the assembly is mounted on a lead frame and cast within a red, electrically nonconductive, transparent plastic compound. The device type is still in production at TI.
