| Alphanumeric LED Display - 1973 TI number: G00442 This device has a special device number DIS-237 with a date code 7306. The type was subsequently given the catalog number TIL504. It consists of a 5 x7 matrix of gallium arsenide phosphide die mounted on a ceramic plug-in header and hermetically sealed to a glass cover. This device was introduced in 1973 and produced by TI until 1985. It is electrically interchangeable with the TIL305, a plastic encapsulated device type. In 1985, the product was transferred to Texas Optoelectronics Inc. (TOI) of Garland, Texas. |
