Camera Electronic Control Module - 1964-5

These modules are of the original design built for Polaroid. It sensed the light intensity and set the shutter speed. The camera was the first commercial model built with an automatic shutter control.

The module was designed and originally built in the Assembled Functions department of the Components Division in 1961. Production continued until 1972-73. These modules have dates of 6-64 and 10-65.
