This item is an example of the 1M bits MBM unit of the 1981 period.

The 1M bits unit was the fourth design by TI in the progression of increased memory capacity. This was the largest size built by TI before terminating the program in 1981. The device contains two 512K bits chips and was introduced in late 1979.
