Silicon Power Transistor - 1965-6 TI number: G00101 The item is one of the first silicon power transistors for MERA. It had a 2 W output at 2.25 GHz and a gain exceeding 3dB. It was built in 1965-6. This item was part of the original S/B Lobby display. One of these transistors was in each of the MERA modules in chip form. The coaxial package with this chip was used for device testing and evaluation only.
